The properties are shown at the bottom of the explorer page, but after I type a new value in a field, like Title, when I select save, I get an error message:
Error 0x800700C1: MyFileName is not a valid Win32 application.
I am running 64 bit Windows 7 and the file is a pdf.

Ok, I've set up a temporary mail alias: thaittiabse<at>dunflimblag.mailexpire.com (replace <at> with @)

If you send me a mail there, I'll respond from my real address.

What you are reporting is consistent: all fields set through my code get the same error. .log has some different problem.

Next step is to finish checking setup. The key value you gave is correct. You should also have the following:

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{D06391EE-2FEB-419B-9667-AD160D0849F3}]
@="File Meta Property Handler"
"DisableProcessIsolation"=dword:00000001
"ManualSafeSave"=dword:00000001
"EnableShareDenyWrite"=dword:00000001
"EnableShareDenyNone"=dword:00000001

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{D06391EE-2FEB-419B-9667-AD160D0849F3}\InprocServer32]
@="C:\Program Files\File Metadata\\FileMetaPropertyHandler.dll"
"ThreadingModel"="Both"

And if you look at the properties of C:\\Program Files\\File Metadata\\FileMetaPropertyHandler.dll, you should see a size of 16,896 bytes and a version on the details tab of 1.0.4098.0.

Please let me know what you see.
